This medical office building has become an oasis of the neighborhood and inspired by the historic building Legion Stadium once was hosting Olympians in 1931-1932. In addition, the Legion Stadium was place of rock acts for Chuck Berry, Ike & Tina Turner, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder and part of a School District Facility before it was demolished in 1974.
The massing and composition of building is inspired by once a famous and historic building in City of El Monte, CA. The parking spaces and trash enclosure are located at rear of building so they are screened by building and landscape areas. The building also comply with universal design providing accessibility to disabled visitors and staff. The glazing areas face north and east directions to minimize the heat gain coupled with cool roof.
